Here at Gas Safety Landlords, we take pride into looking after our customers. We aim to ensure that you, your family and your home are in safe hands. Gas safety testing is one of many safety checks we provide. Unsure what gas safety testing entails? Well, we at Gas Safety Landlords send our well qualified, gas engineers who are members of the Gas Safe Register (a list where only approved, highly qualified engineers are listed on and eligible to carry out gas works).

Gas Safety Testing is performed so that your property is completely faultless with regards to gas. If tampered with, poorly/illegally installed or checked irregularly, gas appliances are prone to produce hazardous, toxic, natural gases, which can kill! Carbon monoxide is a silent killer because of its odourless, colourless, tasteless nature. 30 people are murdered due to gas poisoning each year. Causes are usually due to ill fitted and lack of safety checks for gas appliances. This is why gas safety testing is crucial.

Tenants must have their Landlords arrange with a Gas Safe registered engineer, for a safety test. Your landlord must do this every 12 months. Not only is this a legal requirement, but it is also a way to guarantee low gas costs and high security in your rented property. When safety testing is carried out, your landlord must provide you, the tenant with a copy of a gas safety certificate after 28 days of the completion of the testing or other gas work.

Testing is very important, especially with gas safety. Gas related deaths are one of UK’s biggest killers. We at Gas Safety Landlords believe that through accurate testing, your property and life will be protected. Our commitment to carry out all gas safety testing will continue to be a main priority. Just ask some of our current customers!

Our expert gas engineers will connect, disconnect and maintain any gas appliances and include further safety testing so that your property is a safe environment.
